M&A Activity Signal: False – its news page lists three new “acquisities”, but in Dutch the word also means winning a customer, and no company was bought. Sells to businesses: True – it sells production-planning software to manufacturers on annual licences.

    The funnel opens wide, then narrows on what no database can tell you.

    At the top, we pull in every company that could be relevant rather than a filtered list. Specialist agents then read each one for the context a company database does not hold:

    • Does it manufacture in-house, or outsource?
    • Does the marketplace run an ads business?
    • How many M&A has this company completed in the last 4 years?

    That reading does two jobs. It takes out the companies that look right and are not – and it carries forward, so a candidate is scored later knowing what kind of business context they were actually operating in.

  3. Agents that read people

    A candidate’s scoring: Katrin Vogt is Tier 1 at 91% in the DACH mapping, with the reasoning for the tier and her score on each of five factors written for this search, then the researcher’s note.

    Scored against a scorecard built for this mandate, not a generic fit.

    The agent is taught what great looks like for this search: the scorecard is written for the brief in front of it rather than inherited from the last one, and the context the company agents gathered is part of what it reads. A researcher reviews the work on every search – human QA in the loop, so nobody is ruled out by a model on its own.
